ARTIST'S COMMENT

This was an attempt to combine two very different influences: the great fantasy illustrator Maxfield Parrish, and an incredibly talented surrealist and colleague, Nick Hyde. Most people are familiar with intense blues and formal compositions of Parrish's work, but Nick's paintings have a very organic flow to their compositions that I wanted to introduce.

I receive many inquiries about this image, which is some proof that I achieved my goal.
