ARTIST'S COMMENT

This is one of several paintings I have done of the Palace of Fine Arts, a breathtaking landmark in San Francisco. In recent years, it has been illuminated at night producing a truly spectacular effect - especially on those rare warm nights. As with most of my subjects, I try to exaggerate reality a little without sacrificing believability.
